Return Inspections / Callbacks
Swan’s Professional Plumbing is committed to ensuring the quality of our workmanship and materials. However, there may be instances where an unexpected additional visit to the site is necessary. Such visits may occur for the following reasons:
- Callback: In the event of a fault with either the workmanship or materials supplied by Swan’s Professional Plumbing, we will attend the site and rectify the issue at no additional charge to the client. Please note that if the issue arises from customer-supplied materials/appliances and is unrelated to our workmanship, standard charges will apply.
- Continued Investigation or Multiple Contributing Factors: If a problem or fault is intermittent, not reproducible, or requires further investigation due to multiple contributing factors, we will return to continue the investigation without charging an additional service call fee. However, labor and material fees will still apply.
- No Fault Found: In cases where we are requested to return to a job by the client, and the issue is unrelated to our previous work or where no fault is found, our standard service call fee and labor charges will apply.
By requesting a return visit, you agree that if the fault is not covered under the workmanship or material warranty, you will be liable for the additional costs incurred.
Material Warranty
Material warranty is provided in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty and terms and conditions. When Swan’s Professional Plumbing supplies materials, an additional warranty on material items may apply, as outlined below.
Additional Warranty on Material Items Supplied by Swan’s Professional Plumbing
For material items supplied by Swan’s Professional Plumbing from our standard range (excluding specially requested items), we provide the labor portion of a warranty repair to our customers at no additional charge while the unit is under warranty.
What this means for you: If a warranted material item supplied by Swan’s Professional Plumbing requires repair while under warranty, we will cover the labor costs associated with the repair. This includes instances where a licensed plumber is required to conduct the repair work. However, please note that this warranty only covers parts and labor for repairing or replacing the warranted part and does not extend to rectification costs or damages caused by the failed part.
Please refer to section 15. Defects, Warranties, and Returns of our terms of trade for the legal description, as per the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA).
